For most easy-to-wash coal, sellable product can be obtained through a simple coal preparation process.  Simplicity is one of the major features of the FGX technology that boasts much lower operation cost than wet processes.  One notable case of this kind of FGX application is the Hanjiacun FGX Coal Prep Plant at China’s Shenhua Energy.  The Hanjiacun Plant treats 50-0 mm coal easy-to-wash coal using three FGX-48A separators to achieve a processing capacity of 1,400 tons/hour.  The quality of clean product of the FGX circuit at Hanjiacun Prep Plant can be sold directly, which generates significant economic benefits.
